Wish they made a smaller version one day. It really is an amazing design. Besides its enormous size the only down side it has for me is the steel. Its a real pain to sharpen. Way worse then my 15v.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but there was a falling out between Spyderco and the designer of the K2, Farid Mehr. Farid himself actually chose not to move forward with Spyderco and the smaller K2 design.
That’s not to say they can’t mend their relationship but at the moment, a smaller K2 seems unlikely.
