Good morning ALL! LOL!

Aloha ALL and good morning!

Pulled a double in "****" and the kitchen provided us with a LOVELY breakfast which consisted of one scoop of rice, two pieces of bread, a packet of shoyu, and two hot dogs. YUMMY!

YEAH RIGHT! I cannot help but get this eerie feeling that they found these hot dogs in the freezer that were there for like, EVER.

Well, it is better than the "maggot chicken dinner" that was served a few months ago. No kidding..."Hey man, why is the rice moving on your plate?" LOL! Geez...

Have a great day and safe long weekend! Hope you also have a better breakfast than me! LOL! I just found it amusing...rem deprivation no doubt!

Take care all!

Hi Chad - Now watch your weight with breakfasts like that. In no time you've gained and you need to go "rolling" with the inmates again to trim down!!!!..
Have a fantastic weekend and go get a half stag with sirup on me at your local IHOP!
See Ya, jur.

Clipits work!

Hi Chad. Nice meals you're spoiled with in there. Speaking for my part, considering it's weekend, I indulged myself with a cup of Kona coffee - there's still some spared for special occasions

wow, hotdogs for breakfast, thats downright aweful. makes me wonder what the prisoners eat, but its probably pretty good because of all the lawsuits. ive always wondered about the food offered to inmates though. take care my brother, stay safe, and go have a big stack of pancakes, i demand it .

thats kind of what i figured, that the prisoners could eat like kings but the officers had to take whatever they got. theres something very very wrong with that picture.

I find the idea of eating in the morning strange..... it would get in the way of drinking coffee.

ALOHA ALL!

You guys are the best! LOL

BTW- my SGT tells me we have a bomb threat going on. I said, no...those are just the sounds they make after eating the chow.

He said, "NO...someone just called and said there's a bomb on the facility grounds!"

Okee-Doke!

Anyway, that's another story...mahalo for the laughs guys. YOU guys are the "bomb"!

(Sorry, I couldn't resist!)

Chad, believe me when I tell you I know how you feel. About two years ago, we had "moving rice" served as a meal, as well. I couldn't believe it!! Maggots!

I work from 0600 to 1400 hours. Our "lunch" breaks are generally between 9 A.M. and 10 A.M., and we get meals like you; hot dogs, hamburgers (also referred to as "hockey pucks&quot, chili, rice (preferrably non-moving), spaghetti, pizza (spag. and pizza are two of my favorite meals there).

VERY, very rarely, they actually serve is a breakfast-type meal.

Also, the quality of the food becomes magically more edible around 11 A.M. when the 'suits' come in to eat. I mean, those who don't go off prison grounds to eat.

As for the officers, we have to eat in the chow hall, we're not allowed to go outside to eat or bring our own food inside.
