Re: NFL 2023-2024 Season
Brutal, gutting, so sad for an organization that had the courage to go all in. It's just unbelievable. Favre was my all time favorite, so obviously, Rodgers is not, but this is just horrible, and I feel terrible about it. Just ugh.
Speaking of Favre, Josh Allen, whom I really want to win a Superbowl, is doing a really good impression of bad Favre. He needs to someone to coach him up and settle him down, if it's possible. Only Mike Holmgren could do it with Favre, and it took three years.

Man, John Madden did too! He always bragged on the Gun Slinger.
Thing I loved about Favre was that he wasn't afraid..he'd sling that pigskin come helll or high-water lol!
He was spectacular.

Re: NFL 2023-2024 Season
A real throwback, and he got brutalized. In this era, with the way things have changed, I can only imagine how great he would have been.
Re: NFL 2023-2024 Season
Imagine if he had a healthy Sterling Sharpe during those years! That's another great player robbed by injury that people tend to forget about.

Re: NFL 2023-2024 Season
Imo, there's one that would stand out above all other had they played in today's game and that would be Dan Marino
His release was incredible....his arm strength, accuracy, I've never saw pure talent like that....
I watched a ton of those games back in the day on CBS. Marino was amazing.
It's also brings back the memory of the Pittsburgh Steelers actually passing on Marino in the draft!
And Marino was from Pittsburgh and played for Pitt!

Have you seen that 30 for 30 documentary on that draft?? Very good stuff, though would certainly make a Steelers fan cringe. Especially considering who they drafted instead, and what happened to him.MacLaren wrote: ↑Wed Sep 13, 2023 8:21 amImo, there's one that would stand out above all other had they played in today's game and that would be Dan Marino

Re: NFL 2023-2024 Season
Are the Jets really signing Kaepernick?
Re: NFL 2023-2024 Season
I had not heard anything about that so I just searched around and found an article stating they’re out on Kaepernick. I had to know because that would be a very Jets type move!
I do not think Kaepernick is ever going to play in the NFL again. He hasn’t played for long enough that I doubt he’s even a consideration for anyones practice squad.

I shouldve known better than that chit lol

Aaron Rodgers posted on social media
“The night is darkest before dawn. And I shall rise again.”
It sounds like he might try to come back from this injury.

Re: NFL 2023-2024 Season
Wow. Philly makes a 61 yard field goal right before halftime.
Re: NFL 2023-2024 Season
After all those first half turnovers, it’s only appropriate that the Vikings would open the second half with a fumble.
