Finally caved in and bought 2 knives that aren't Spydercos in the past months. A MBK Slayback, which is a design that always talked to me. And this week : my first CRK , a Small Seb 21 !

It is exactly as I pictured. Same action as let's say a Spyderco Brouwer, but tolerances way tighter and an overall ultra classy look. I'm sure I'll buy a Large Seb or Inkosi during the next months. Plain Jane though, I love them that way !

Buddy at work popped into my office with this Heretic auto with mammoth ivory inlays. Not my style, but this thing has the most authoritive snap action on an auto I've ever felt.

Oh, I have the same in green ! This is the knife I hurt myself the worst with. No relation but the heat treat on that S35VN is splendid ! Best I've had. I had to call kizer to change the washers though (triple washers on each side). They sent me 2 washers like on the Sebenza and since then it is a crazy knife, their CS is good, they even added a liner in case it was faulty. Especially for the 50 bucks I paid back then.

I love it too, but I got it with a weird patina on the stainless cladding and some micro scratches. The blade looks a bit dirty most of the time but It still is an excellent model, love it's lines !




ETA : I think I have to force patina my slayback now, the idea cross my mind and I have to see how it looks
