Another awesome picture kohagen! And you could call it the paysannosaurus and its unsuspecting pray in the back ground…kohagen wrote: ↑Tue Sep 05, 2023 11:56 amThanks for the Runner Runner Up mention... some new faces added to our little group of great photo takers!
Some great starter photo's for this week as well, quick Labor Day trip out to the local Sand Dunes with a new acquisition to my stable of photo props making it's first appearance. Can't come up with a jurassic reference, so I'll just call this the Paysan in the Sand.![]()

Hah, I remember seeing how the Shroom man used his kids in the background for his photo shoot, and saw this family walking up the sand dunes and thought it might make a good photo... didn't event catch the evolution pose! Nice observation...

Since we’ve got a theme going, here’s a Mule Team in CPM REX T15 next to a cast of a Tyrannosaurus rex tooth.I like the way this photo looked more than the one I have with Spyderco’s engraving of the “REX” steel name in focus, so you’ll just have to un-blur it with your imagination.
rex121 is the king of steel, but nature’s teeth have been cutting for hundreds of millions of years and counting

This quite the prehistoric photo’s we’ve “dug up” this last week.
Love it!
Love it!

Re: Spyderco Photo of the Week Contest!
It's Sunday evening where I am so hopefully I'm doing this right -
1st place - Manixguy@1994 for his "Flatamanixamus"
That clean, satin and black Manix just looks really nice with a little bit of color and pattern from the tiles behind it.
Love the blues between the handle and the flowers, and the flower shadows on the blade are a really nice touch!
Thanks for all the submissions, it was fun!

And finally an honorable mention to Fly Fishing Rick, because the beautiful edge on that Chaparral is a work of art by itself!
