Looks like the Urban and Squeak are closest to Dragonfly in size as far as slippies go.

Is the Urban the closest slip-joint to the Dragonfly?
The urban looks like a UKPK and a dragonfly had a baby. Yeah, I guess. Certainly a slip joint.

How so you like it? It is an easy, weightless carry.

Women also like this knife. They have almost no pockets and tiny purses. As soon as my little wife saw my orange one years ago, she said, "Ooo, that's mine!" and took it. :grin-smiling-eyes

After that, she petitioned Sal to produce one in purple and was so excited when he wrote her back. She got that one. Later, I bought her a pink one with a black blade. One of them is with her all of the time.

Man, what a dramatic photograph. You are an artist. Its an awesome knife and steel. I really wanted to see the blade because it looks like you have carried/used it a lot. The scratch pattern is interesting. H1 has a special sheen to it. Hey, I am not immune to the aesthetics of a steel.

Clipless is the best type of Dfly. Only my salt I keep the clip on for a life vest. All others ride clipless in the pocket. Too light to notice. Easy to index correctly when grabbing to pull out in the right position to deploy.

Also great clipless in the 5th pocket of jeans.

So far so good on clipless. When it cools off and I start wearing jeans more often I’m sure I’ll be happy. Just don’t want it to come sliding out of my shorts pocket, but in hand it’s heaven. This blade was used/scratched up when I bought it. serrations worn down a bit and rounded and I always dremel the spine wear it meets the jimping to make it less sharp, drop the tip a bit with the dremel as well. Hit the spydie hole with sandpaper etc. Anyway, I’m enjoying the just a pocket knife mentality that Doc was espousing at the beginning of this thread. I made a post a while ago about how I hate this knife. Hate it because it’s so good and just works so that it has killed off the hobby a bit for me. Not that that’s a bad thing.

No, that is not a bad thing at all. The DF is what, 30 years old? It is still a top flight design. Pure genius and an ergonomic wonder.

Edited to fix typo.
