i emailed awt and asked about the full manix grips. they said they have no plans to make them. i'm not buying skinny manix scales. i can't believe they wouldn't consider making standard shaped scales.
I have a set for the Para 3 LWs in bound. Since it is a choil grip only model for me I think the skinny will be fine.

On the Manix, I'm with you all the way. Rockscale designs, I think is the way to go on those man. At least that is my plans. Too many people on here rave about them. The linerless construction even makes the standard S30V model an option for me personally.
i'll end up pulling the trigger on those someday. i also just ordered a standard dlc manix, some scales, and a ball cage, so i'm tapped out at the moment. i'm looking forward to finally having a dlc manix though.

Hey! Been about a year since I posted. Got into another hobby this last year so wasn’t too active with the Spyderco forum.

Love seeing this one. One of two on the discontinued list that I want to grab before they are all gone. Sage is such a great ergonomic dream small EDC for me.

Man, I´d love to see a "mixture" of these knives:

- Backlock and thinner blade stock of the Leaf Jumper... on the Lil Temperance handle... :smirk (to be clear: Never even held a Lil Temperance, but the handle looks a lot like the Enuff 1 handle, which I find to be great. I like when a handle offers a lot of "meat" beneath the INDEX finger (and is not thin/narrow there)).
Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):
- EDC: Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10); Wayne Goddard PE (4V), Endela SE (VG10)
-Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), and also Wayne Goddard PE (4V)

the lil temp handles are the best small knife handles spyderco makes IMO. Full four finger grip for me.

And actually really close to the Enuff handle (shape) (which I liked a lot!) indeed, right?

Some people like to b**ch about the square edges on the Manix handle. The edges on that Lil Temp handle look pretty square to me. Yet what I've read about the Lil Temp is that it's soooo ergonomic.

Does not compute.

Don´t know... as said: Never even held a Lil Temperance. Just the overall shape / silhouette looks pretty much like the "Enuff" handle, which I know and find to be great imo. But, yes, the Enuff handle IS chamfered a bit more indeed, but the Lil Temperance still looks to be rounded at the bottom part of the handle and to have a chamfering for the middle finger.

I also don´t mind the square edges of the Manix (LW!) handle at all. Actually makes the knife perhaps even more stable in hand imo, and can only be felt in a slightly uncomfortable way when really squeezing the handle in very "hard" tasks.

I'm a people that praised the lil temp handle. I'm also a people that has never complained about squared off manix handle edges.

Also, the (imo) ergonomically superior lil temp OG had very contoured scales.

I still remember when I bought a leaf version in the 2000's. First thing I told my room mate when I held it was "The handle feels like I squished a ball of play dough to perfectly conform to my grip." That handle is something special. No knife that small feels that good in my grip, even fixed blades.

Anyways, night out carry
