Yeah if you have $10K or so just wasting away. But it was fun to verify the steel. The longer you hold the gun on material the more specific it gets with the breakdown of elements. Then you can compare it to a steel chart. It's not really made for knife steels but cronidur was originally a bearing steel. It didn't call out the Kershaw leek steel by name but the composition was right.
