First question is about the coating.
Is it Titanium nitride?
Does anyone have experience cleaning their aqua salt with acetone?
If so what were your results?
Thanks in advance.
FYI these are still available.

Re: A couple quick Aqua Salt questions
The coating is Titanium Carbonitride. (TiCN)
I have not cleaned mine with acetone but have used high percentage isopropyl alcohol to clean it without any issues. I’d imagine acetone would not have any negative effect either.

Re: A couple quick Aqua Salt questions
I have used acetone on some blades. Not TiCN. If it is even close to DLC, I think the worst it will do is give it a dried out look. Rub it down with some mineral oil and it will look better than new.

I don't have an Aqua Salt, but I just dipped my TiCN coated 4V Goddard in acetone to the pivot (for science!), and it's completely fine.
EDIT:
After sitting for about 90 seconds with acetone on the blade:
After wiping it off on my shirt:
After oiling (then drying) with Rem-Oil:
