I understand your frustration. Amazon same day shipping has numbed us all to "normal shipping" I get were you are coming from and I would probably be the same way in the same situation. The good news is most banks will refund your money in fraud cases but you need to give them a police report case number. best of luck!

What is the point of this post? People get scammed every day by doing stupid things on dozens of different platforms, sending people money they don't know or haven't even vetted, etc. Apparently either you failed miserably at doing your job as a buyer, or the seller has some valid reasons for a delay. Either way, it doesn't seem worthy of even making a post here. Perhaps you should contact the admins or whoever controls the platform you transacted on, it might actually do some good unlike this post.

Hopefully everything works out in the end. Going forward don't pay for anything without buyer protection. I only pay with PP G&S, or a credit card. A lot of people now want you to send funds with PP F&F which I refuse to do.

Personally, I would like to see some resolution or closure to this thread from the OP.

Well he's active, so we might get some.
I got scammed during these 7 months, this was my first :open-grin ! Truely a one of a kind experience, but I don't think I'll reiterate it ;)

It was indeed one of those. Everything seemed legit but alas; no knife or contact either. It happens.

There’s nobody forcing you to read or make a response to something you find unnecessary.

As for the actual fraud itself there’s little I can do. Reporting it to the police is basically pointless as they can’t do anything. Seller deleted his account shortly after, and I’m assuming switched phone numbers as well.

Haha fair enough. It’s not a very pleasant feeling!
