Hey, that sounds like me. When something can't be broken, my friends call it 'Ted-proof'. We're pretty equally split among men and women. Yes, several models are made here in Golden by our crew (WTC knife, Military, Para-Military, Native, Chinook II, Manix, ATR Ti, Dodo and Yojimbo). We have women in nearly every department (including production), some more so than others. Our entire Sales department (Domestic and International Wholesale) is women (someone once said "Women, that's Spyderco's secret weapon).
As for Japan, we don't own the factories there, so their people aren't considered employees of Spyderco.
