Pac Salt again today and for the next week. My SE journey has been halted. My SE Leaf Jumper went missing, but I will say I have enjoyed SE enough to have a Salt 2 waiting on me when I get back home.

Oh man, the falls look gorgeous. Hope it's not too hot there this week!
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

Not too bad if you avoid the hottest parts of the day.

Jeff, no surprise that I love that pic!! :grin-big eyes

/ And I hope and think that you will love that Salt 2 SE (LC? or H2?) as a superlight, but extremely capable hiking knife

Actually found an old pic of mine also in front of a waterfall (not as impressive as the one on your pic of course)

Image
Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):
- EDC: Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10); Wayne Goddard PE (4V), Endela SE (VG10)
-Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), and also Wayne Goddard PE (4V)

That is a great pic Gernot! I went with the H1 serrated. Honestly I love the look of a HG even though it is not very high. This is just going to be my take anywhere do anything knife. I definitely see the value in the utility purpose of serrated. If it is the only model I have away from the house, I'll be ok with that.

1st, where is that picture taken?!

2nd, that leafjumper only lasted a week or two didn't it? It's ashame, because I have a PE and am really liking it.

3rd, I like my salt 2, but I wear large size gloves and feel the handle to be just a bit short. Since most of your in hand pictures make enduras look like delicas, what do you think?

Yosemite Falls from Yosemite Valley.

The Leaf Jumper was lost at a previous stop. It will eventually be replaced with K390.

I put a nice edge on the cf siren I received last week and it’s been a real beauty to use and carry. It’s a shame the model has been discontinued.
