Meaning you don't really like SE?
Could you elaborate why? (Honest question out of real interest in that type of edge )
I don't know. My first SE. I have been carrying it exclusively for almost a week. Just trying to see if there is any advantage to me. I'm going to keep carrying it for awhile to see if it changes my preferences.
my guess is that you may end up finding the utility of se and may decide to carry it in addition to pe, but it probably won't replace pe for you. unless most of your cutting requires se, pe is more pleasant to use, in my opinion. but i do carry both and default to se if i only carry one.
I do EXACTLY what LB is talking about but I never default to just carrying one, always have a pe and a se on me all the time…there are just some things one does better than the other and you’ll see if you keep carrying the se…I was in your exact situation not too long agoladybug93 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 14, 2023 3:50 ammy guess is that you may end up finding the utility of se and may decide to carry it in addition to pe, but it probably won't replace pe for you. unless most of your cutting requires se, pe is more pleasant to use, in my opinion. but i do carry both and default to se if i only carry one.
I could definitely see that. I can see why the edge would hold up for longer and how it would be powerhouse of cutting force in an emergency setting. I can also see how it can begin a cut much easier with certain material.ladybug93 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 14, 2023 3:50 ammy guess is that you may end up finding the utility of se and may decide to carry it in addition to pe, but it probably won't replace pe for you. unless most of your cutting requires se, pe is more pleasant to use, in my opinion. but i do carry both and default to se if i only carry one.

I did have some hard rubbery plastic material that I thought a PE would just skip off of so I took out this SE Leaf Jumper, folded the material in my hand and blasted right through it. I was impressed. For giggles I tried the same thing with my K390 Endura with a nice edge. It zipped right through it too.I need to try it on some zip ties. I use zip ties like duct tape. Fixes everything! It typically gives PE some trouble unless you can get under it and pry with the edge.
No idea but that is one of the prettiest Para 3’s I’ve ever seen
