I ordered a Para3 LW and a Sharpmaker yesterday morning from Knifecenter and still don't have a tracking# (24 hours).

They must be busy...

KSF has adjusted some of its on sale prices including those two Chaparrals and the SpyOpera Sprint which I purchased from them this morning for $284.20 shipped and now it’s $345.10.
If anyone is still considering the SpyOpera Sprint Indiana Knives still has it for $284 with free shipping and no tax

I’m sure hoping they are a good site - this is a heck of a deal …. Manix SPY27 $99 shipped

https://ridgerunnerblades.com/product/s ... c101pcbl2/

Perhaps they are moving out the pinned in favor of the screws?

Good to see retailers getting squeezed like the rest of us.

The age of the MAP is over. No one is going to buy overpriced toys in austerity.

What if whiny retailers were a 0 interest rate phenomenon?

I just picked up a PM2 in M4 with custom scales from SMKW for $139.99. Amazing deal and they are currently still in stock.

It's an interesting phenomenon, a MAP holiday in November and now another MAP holiday in July. Do retailers want to "train" us to buy all our knives during one, or now two, short periods of the year? Why not just provide lower prices all year long, as was the case before MAP? I've read arguments for MAP but none of them ever got any traction with me. MAP seems an artificial way of manipulating the marketplace, with unintended consequences of lowering sales, leading by necessity to these "holidays" where retailers try to move some product. In my humble opinion, of course. Y'all are welcome to tell me how ignorant and wrong I am.

BHQ has the Stretch2 K390 for $127.99

Has anyone seen a lower price? This one has been on my wish list for a long time.

Knifeworks has it for $131.82, add to cart for price. Comes out a couple bucks cheaper for me, because BladeHQ charges tax for me, KW doesn't. Seems to be sold out at a lot of retailers.

These days (since about a year ago), I’m only buying higher-end Spyderco folders and 4 of the last 5 were during sales events either in NOV 2022 or JUL 2023.

In NOV 2022 I saved a combined 48% off MSRP and in dollars I saved $175.44 over the MAP price:

  1. Stovepipe 20CV Titanium
  2. Native5 S90V Fluted CF

In JUL 2023 I saved a combined 50% off MSRP and in dollars I saved $185.74 over the MAP price:

  1. SpyOpera DamaSteel CF Sprint
  2. Pattadese M390 Contoured G-10

Thanks! Not sure how I missed that. Knifeworks is one of my preferred dealers and always has been.

No one has mentioned the GB 2's for under $200. I've seen two so far - can't remember exactly where, but should be easy to find.

Got myself a new Spydiechef and Techno 2 for under $200. Plus a Cat, Efficient, Insistent, Persistent to learn how to freehand sharpen on Spyderco blades without sharpening choils... I might have went a lil overboard lol

REC had the Damasteel Opera at 279.99, now sold out...that was very quick, or they only had a few stocks.

They also have a few standard Spydies at 20% off, but nothing stands out that other dealers have for better pricing.

Needed a good “forget about it” small knife. Got a tasman salt from white mountain with coupon for 75… usually 108. I scratched the itch but not too deep!

For those who like the Military with Black DLC Blade it’s just $176.40 now at KSF. Normally, it’s $252.00 and even the upcoming Military 2 with Black DLC Blade will be $231.00.

I missed out on Smock for $140 before they sold out. Probably for the best anyway though since I’m holding out for a non-s30v one at the right price on the secondary market

I’ve been wanting an Autonomy black coated fully serrated for a while. Got one from Knivesshipfree for $232.
