PS-not trying to be a d*ck - just adding clarity. I tested both of my pre-CQI inexpensive Sirens, pressing hard against a cutting board, and both are completely safe. To me this should be the perfect fishing knife, but I have yet to catch a fish since the purchases! Hopefully that will change next Saturday, as we are hiking up to a lake in search of bass!!!

I am a big talker, but generally only cut paper and tape. For now the fish are safe.

Spyderco.com has added 6 new knives to their sale/close out section. The Delica and Dragonfly Blue Zome (dlc and satin). Plus the Native Chief M390 (dlc and satin). Great prices.

I am a bit tempted with the Native Chief but not sure what the knife is for??? I love my Native 5 but the Chief seems more self defense with such a spear point?? Seems like such a large blade a a tiny tip, in outdoor camping use seems you would be asking for trouble.

It’s NOT a great price. It was also sold at 50% off MSRP to OpFocus group. If more people avoided paying full MSRP then Spyderco would’ve been forced to discount it sooner.
