no time for pics yesterday, but it was a big day. my family and i moved into our first home. we've been renting for all 19 years we've been married and finally got to purchase our first home. spent all day moving in. i carried my 15v manix and pac salt, of course.
Big Congratulations! You can tell us about your landscaping journey over in the 'Show us your plants and flowers' thread'.

I bought my fixer-upper in May of last year. I'd love a pretty yard but for now I'm happy with flat and green :woozy

Today I have the Ayoob in pocket after flipping the clip around. It carry's better but the knife was easier to open when carried tip down.

Local Costco had a tub of Grillo's that snuck in to my basket today. First time I've seen them there. Looking forward to trying them.

in bigger news, my wife actually asked me for a knife to use for unpacking. she never uses a knife for anything but cooking and eating, so i was happy to let her use my roadie all day. she wanted something that wasn't too big and was easy to open and close (in her case, meaning no complicated locks). halfway through the day, i asked how she was doing with it and she said she liked it. maybe there's hope for her yet. i think i'll just buy her a teal delica for when she's ready. 😂
Congrats!

This is like a fairy tale dream come true. You got a first home and your wife was ok with knives. Play the lottery man. This could be your lucky week. Congratulations on all the blessings. I wish you continued success.

thanks, guys.

the pac salt is helping me unpack a little after church this morning. i really love these tiles throughout my house. they kind of remind me of metallica's load album cover, but it's a really nice multicolor slate tile.

Been doing lots of riding, weather has been on the humid side (for here) and warm, mid 80s to mid 90s. Finally getting back to doing the amount of bike riding I like, over 80 miles this week. MagnaCut Native has been drenched in sweat for several hours while riding, so far seems to be living up to the Salt designation.

Yikes! Hopefully the folks who made those tiles didn't do the same thing Metallica did to get that effect.

Had a great time in the mountains for a couple of days now - normally on longer outings I prefer larger Spydies (as I do anyway), but this time I decided to only bring the Salt 2 SE.

Said it several times already: What a performer for its "nothing-ness" in pocket!!
A knife imo every mountaineer should own.

Image
Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):
- EDC: Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10); Wayne Goddard PE (4V), Endela SE (VG10)
-Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), and also Wayne Goddard PE (4V)
