I was thinking I'd get one of these, but I'm carrying the S90V CF Siren today and I can't really see much of a difference between the two.
It’s funny because my thought process was similar and I reached the opposite conclusion. I like the siren and like the idea of the goddard essentially being a lighter weight version of it. To be fair, it doesn’t take much for me to bite on any St. Nick’s exclusives in 4v steel.
The grind seems fare more thinner to me too ^^ I won't know until I get it but I dredd the BTE thickness of my Siren once it'll have been sharpened a lot !
:respect In the collection :respect : Lots of different steels, in lots of different (and same) Spydercos.

Well that was a failure.😞😂

Goddard incoming.

For a guy who used the same four knives for 30 years, I am pathetic. 😂

Love the knife but the 4V is not for me. With luck someone else will do a run in another blade steel.
Why is 4V not for you? Because it isn't a stainless steel? I don't have any 4V and would love to know more about it.
I am not a fan of blades that rust.

I think they'll last longer than expected mainly because it's a backlock with a FRN handle. It won't surprise me if they take a couple days or more. I'm happy to be wrong though.

Huh?
It cannot get any better than just that... :open-grin ;) ;)
Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):
- EDC: Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10); Wayne Goddard PE (4V), Endela SE (VG10)
-Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), and also Wayne Goddard PE (4V)

Don't know if you're available but check your private messages if you can !

Robin, you´re such a great guy!! :clinking-mugs :clinking-mugs :clinking-mugs
I´ll reply soon to the pm!

I actually tried to several times, but I am in the mountains with almost no internet service, so it did not work.
Right now I am in a shelter where it seems to be a bit better.

They should have made more - that lanyard couldn't have cost them anywhere near $35 to make.

Yeah, putting that $35 toward a second knife is what I'd do, but that's just me. I like the Lanyard, but not that much.

Still showing 354 in stock. I'm surprised but hope this gives an opportunity for those still on the fence.

Definitely happy to see that a lot of forumites got this without the usual stress and hassle of an exclusive drop.

Passing on this one, since the size too large for what I prefer to carry nowadays. But really cool of SNK to resurrect this model. I'm hoping for more exclusives that use older models instead of the usual PM2/P3/Manix2/Shaman posse.

I’m hoping SNK does a Goddard Jr. (C18) since it’s more up my alley with a 2.8” blade length.

I dig such resurrections as well.
