Good ole G10 Para 3 with some sticky sharp M4.
That knife is itching for for Micarta. Or maybe that’s just me.
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.
Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

I agree bud! The scales are looking a bit grungy these days, even after cleaning them.

Decided it was finally time to do some testing with my Rex 45 Native Chief. I'm sure it wont last long though, with the T15 Mule on the way.

It's a blue Spyderco kind of day but only the K390 Delica was in my pocket. The bread knife and Counter Puppy were not.

Much of the day was confined space/rope rescue training, then I braved the 90-degree heat to put in some miles on the bike. Native 5 Salt in MagnaCut is the right choice for this kind of day.

Fatligher in natural form…big ol’ stump, didn’t have the heart to cut it even though I had a saw in my hand dropping dead poles…solid as a rock, just like the knife

Funnily enough neither did I. Largely due to general dislike (or rather, prefer the comp lock) for the liner lock. It’s also around 300+ even used in Canada. I still wannna try a Millie 1 at some point but the upcoming Millie 2 checks a lot of boxes for me….
