Subvert Sprint CF/20CV!
Re: Subvert Sprint CF/20CV!
One of the best things about this folder is the strong tip and belly towards the extreme end of the blade with plenty of relatively straight area. I love knives that are less of a fine tip for my uses. I can see having a kydex sheath made for when the knife is in the open position especially for scout carry.

Re: Subvert Sprint CF/20CV!
Does anyone know how many were there in stock? Didn't look like many people were too crazy about it and it sold out in just few hours.. I kind of want one. Out of stock for sprint run means there won't be any on Spyderco.com right?Dazen wrote: ↑Tue Jun 27, 2023 10:38 amAvailable!!

They’re going to pop up on all the regular sites soon.

Re: Subvert Sprint CF/20CV!
Welcome to our forum shishlo. The early inventory is typically our premiers and collectors. There will likely be more inventory added to the site (although this can vary from model to model). I wouldn't anticipate that it will last long as a Sprint. You can also reach out to SFO (Spyderco Factory Outlet) and ask that they add you to a Bug list. They'll reach out to you if/'when more become available.shishlo wrote: ↑Tue Jun 27, 2023 10:03 pmDoes anyone know how many were there in stock? Re: Subvert Sprint CF/20CV!
They should be popping up like was mentioned earlier. It will be a game of whack a mole to get one. Once these are sold out there will be a lot of people who wish they got one. This is one I have waited a long time for and I am giddy to get the 20CV CF version for my knife utilitainment

Re: Subvert Sprint CF/20CV!
Yeah I've decided this is my next knife purchase.
Re: Subvert Sprint CF/20CV!
I was talked into a Subvert by all of this discussion, plus watching a couple of Youtube videos where the owners showed huge amounts of generous love for the design. I ended up acquiring a REC cerakote version in [coyote] brown. Oddly, it ended up being the same knife from one of the videos, so I guess the owner didn't love it as much as I/he thought
Re: Subvert Sprint CF/20CV!
These are one of the few Spyderco models I see as a “Must Have”. I am excited to have another large Spyderco

That is fantastic! What do you think of it??HolySteel wrote: ↑Wed Jun 28, 2023 11:34 amI was talked into a Subvert by all of this discussion, plus watching a couple of Youtube videos where the owners showed huge amounts of generous love for the design. Re: Subvert Sprint CF/20CV!
I don't know yet - it arrives next week. When I bought it I thought it was a Sprint or Exclusive because I had just watched a video featuring this exact knife (from two owners back!), but River's Edge Cutlery does cerakote now, on anything. So if I like it...I am in trouble!TheGiant80 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 28, 2023 12:47 pmThat is fantastic! I can attest that cerakote is addictive. Uh oh! :)HolySteel wrote: ↑Wed Jun 28, 2023 12:52 pmI don't know yet - it arrives next week. Re: Subvert Sprint CF/20CV!
The Subvert Sprint Run with 20CV & Solid CF is a relative no brainer at $420.00 considering the regular Subvert S30V & Orange G-10 is $403.20!

That looks awesome! The Ti liners really look good with the FDE, might have to have my orange one done as well!

Re: Subvert Sprint CF/20CV!
I’m guessing that there is a lot of other material/tooling in the knife to make for difference in price between G10 and CF. Also, from what I understand the backspacer is black G10 on the CF variant as well, saving a little money there.
But I do agree, I was shocked to see such a similar price at first!
