300 xc. Great trail bike; loads of torque down low. Pretty easy to lug around and it’s not that heavy, only 225 lbs empty. But better be respectful of that throttle. She’ll scream like a banshee and throw you outta your seat if you ain’t careful! 😅

I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

I use to have a similar bike. 300exc. Was a beast.

Nice!!! Yeah I now understand the meaning of a power band after being thrown off a YZ 125 years ago, so can only imagine what that 300xc is capable of 🏍

Hey man nothing wrong those small bore smokers! They scream all day long. Not the best for trails and stuff cause they make so much power up top and almost nothing down low, but light as all heck and just fun!

It's got so much torque but KTM tuned the powerband to be more linear than the race bikes. It can be scary if you're not careful, but it also doesn't have that all or nothing hit of a 125. She'll happily tractor along in 2nd gear up hills and around stuff in the woods. Impossible to stall, it's almost a cheater bike lol!
