Great pick ! I saw the last tour where he included the tracks of this album . All time favorite of mine . Next tour he morphed into the Thin White Duke and blew me away . Dan

Bowie did a pretty good impersonation of Dr Who. Art imitating Art.Manixguy@1994 wrote: ↑Sun Jun 04, 2023 4:39 pmNext tour he morphed into the Thin White Duke and blew me away . Dan

Re: What are you listening to?
His concerts in some way seemed more Broadway than rock. A lot of over the top productions of each song . Wardrobe and stage changes throughout the show . Thin White Dude was like a supercharged lounge singer , totally different but still Bowie . Shed his skin and became another character Ziggy was gone . Re: What are you listening to?
Was googling some original gangsters and came across this, another 2003 release, a two-disc Deluxe Edition of the London Sessions.
An album by blues musician Howlin' Wolf released in 1971 on Chess Records, and on Rolling Stones Records in Britain. It was one of the first super session blues albums, setting a blues master among famous musicians from the second generation of rock and roll, in this case Eric Clapton, Steve Winwood, Charlie Watts, and Bill Wyman and more.
It sounds remarkably good.
You can find the long list of the usual suspects here:

Looks like you have to go to youtube to play the full compilation.

Re: What are you listening to?
Haven't heard this song in many years. I remember the last time I heard it, I was in a pretty bad place mentally, making stupid decisions and wasn't sure what I was doing with my life. Fast forward to today, sitting in the office listening with an ear bud and it makes me very thankful and grateful to have been able to turn my life around over the years and end up with a great woman by my side. This is about as sappy as my music gets!

Re: What are you listening to?
Modern thrash metal can get it right sometimes! Killer riffage and the vocals are great, not too screechy and high.
