There’s not a wrong choice, but that’s the problem with to many new knives in a short period of time. My personal vote is for either of the ones on the outer edges!

Definitely a sleeper in their lineup. It’s a great knife though!

How’s the edge retention outdoors doing wood stuff?

I’ve only carried it a few times now while out fishing, so my use has been limited primarily to cutting up bait and cutting fishing line. Stabbing it into this old salt aged wood pylon is the most wood the edge has touched so far.

Vivi has used one of these knives to **** and back though. I’m sure he has a ton of experience with this knife outdoors that he may be able to share.

Dang it man!!! I love that knife and had tried to put it outa my thoughts but between you and VIVI I’m finding it hard to resist…and I haven’t looked but I’m 1000% sure it’s more expensive than the Centofante or Chaparral…not to mention my fixed blade collection is/has never been stellar

LOL It’s a tempting one! Makes any fixed blade collection better, if you ask me.

Unfortunately the plaid edge model has been discontinued and might prove difficult to find at MAP. The serrated edge model is still available but your suspicions are correct, it costs more than both the Centofante and Chaparral LW. It comes in at about $149 MAP, at the moment.

This knife redone in LC200N would be a real winner. Good dive knife and hiking knife.
