Cool to see the Native Chief LW getting so many edge options. I'll be grabbing a blacked out one in PE for sure - I love BD1N. At 3.1oz it must be linerless. At that weight it'll be competitive with my saber ground Pacifics in terms of weight and bulk.

Glad to see variations of the Military 2 already being shown. I plan to wait for the DLC versions to come out. I'll probably be getting a blacked out PE one of these as well.

Great reveal! New lightweight Native Chief variants, Leafjumper and Tenacious steel upgrades, and the Microjimbo will be a great addition to the Yojumbo family. The Sprint runs all look sweet, especially the Subvert. Good seeing more SPY27 getting used cause it’s a very good steel. I’m mildly surprised that the next 15V wasn’t announced, given how popular the previous models have been but I suppose it’s good to get a small break from it (even though a 15V Native Chief would’ve fit in perfectly with this reveal). I’m excited to see the products in this reveal (more so than my wallet) and look forward to getting more than a few of them in hand.

The Native Chief in SPY27 checks a lot of boxes for me as I have not yet:
  • Owned a Golden back lock
  • Owned a Golden LW
  • Owned a Spydie without a hump
  • Owned SPY27

Military2 ComboEdge will be most useful for me like my Military ComboEdge from 2005. Long blade affords two edges. S30V still works great! I’ll probably go for a Military2 ComboEdge Black DLC blade.

That Subvert Sprint Run with 20CV & solid contoured CF looks amazing. One of the best large folders (4.12” blade length) from Spyderco. At a $420 street price I hope to see it on sale. A want not a need.

The price list says LC200N for the two yellow FRN UKPK knives but it should say MagnaCut.

Also, what's the status on these UKPK Salt folders? Only one of the four below has been delivered.

  1. UK Penknife Salt LC200N PlainEdge Green FRN C94PGR (USA) - JUL 2022
  2. UK Penknife Salt LC200N SpyderEdge Green FRN C94SGR (USA) - Reveal 10 (JUN 2022)
  3. UK PenKnife Salt CPM-MagnaCut PlainEdge Yellow FRN C94PYL (USA) - 2023 Product Guide
  4. UK PenKnife Salt CPM-MagnaCut SpyderEdge Yellow FRN C94SYL (USA) - 2023 Product Guide

I missed that the brown Tenacious was M4 at first.

I know it'll be very, very unlikely since it sells much lower volumes, but I'd dig a Resilience in that same configuration.

You and me both, brother. I have nothing but high praise for BD1N. It is stupid easy to sharpen and get hair poppin' sharp.

My only lament is the Military 2 gets an insta SE and we have clamored for a Military SE forever. I am not a fan of comp locks so no M2 for me but possibly a Lil Yo? The UKPK honestly resonates hardest for me

UKPK Spy27 is gonna be a must!

Any new UKPK really, still waitin' on Magna. Not that I wouldn't rather see the Manix Salt out first - I would.

KnifeCenter calls it: "NEW 2023 SPYDERCO | BIGGEST REVEAL IN YEARS!". Includes street prices (30% off MSRP).

Chief lightweights are under $160. Not quite as good as the Stretch XL price but cheap enough I'll grab multiples.

Ouch on the Military 2. Base S30V DLC is over $230. It'll be the first time I drop over $200 on a knife.

Native Chief Lightweight DLC is $14 more than Satin but Military2 DLC is a whopping $35 more than Satin! What gives?

Yojumbos have similar pricing between satin and DLC. $35 difference.

Not sure what made it go from a $10 difference in the past to a $35 one, but it's worth it for me. Especially since they coat liners etc. now. Closest we've come yet to a Military Salt.

I thought it was due to one being Back Lock and the other Compression Lock but the Blacked Out ParaMilitary2 DLC is only $14 more than Satin.
