Oof. Was getting timeouts, and getting through the shopping cart took about a dozen tries. Finally got the Complete screen and order confirmation email. That was rough! Whew...

Took about 9 minutes of clicking, waiting, reloading, timeouts. Didn't think I'd get it!

Got my confirmation at 9:06. There was a lot of waiting for it to load, but it looks like I'm good. :)

Process was a little slower than last time, but not terrible, with no long hang-ups on any particular screen. Our internet is not particularly dependable, so it seems strange that so many of you get timed-out.

I was able to order by practicing patience. Just let the website do its work, don't keep mashing the refresh key. Refresh only if the page times out. We all knew the site would be slow with this drop.

Good luck to all still trying!

BTW, AEB-L Mule is still available. Sites says 700+ remaining.

Got one. All in all about 6min. This time was a lot easier than other "hot" steels.

Jeez, update your site, Spyderco. Put all the shipping options, payment info, etc. on one page. I feel like it's 1998 and I'm on dial-up watching the page load haha

I just like to see how long it takes for them to start popping on eBay.

Confession time: Added another AEB-L to the two 15Vs. Feeling some cognitive dissonance here. Am I happy for 3 knives on the way, or depressed about the bill? I can't tell.

Time outs can be from network distribution, so if there were a lot of people coming in from one area of the internet (which doesn't necessarily match physical distribution) those people could have timed out somewhere along the way, even if Spyderco's servers were running fine. If your internet is some small provider that isn't bouncing through big popular routers, it may have actually helped you.

Lol. I'll see your AEB-L and raise you.

I actually added two AEB-L's to my order.

All things considered, this is going super well compared to the Magnacut release. Seems Spyderco has possibly made improvements on the back end so these go smoother.

Also, website is stating at :18, "We have 539 Mule Team™ CPM 15V(s) in our inventory."

This makes me feel better, thank you Tom! I'm not the only fool clever person to yield to temptation.

I wonder what determines who gets through at any given time or not. Yes, I’m not that tech savvy. But I guess they weren’t all sold out ~20min post the drop, whatever that means…

LOL I kept getting time-outs and re-log in just about every step but still scored. I was on in seconds, and 10 minutes to complete the order. My nerves are a wreck. This will be my 2nd Spyderco.

What, I have to wait until the end of the day to put up my eBay ad?
