I want to see some new new not just more new old.
i'd agree with that as well. it's always nice to see new designs, even if they don't appeal to me personally.

Just want a Magnacut PM2 LW.
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

More left-handed compression lock models. My first choice would be a Shaman.

This a dream of mine also but not sure it will ever happen . If so probably like othe lefty variants and standard issue . It would not be an issue with me . MG2

FRN versions of the Siren and Caribbean, both with backlocks and in Magnacut.

Rockjumper and Leafjumper salts.

A salty Street Beat and a salty Street Bowie.

I don't think any of this is all that likely but I can dream! :-)

I had similar thoughts until recently. I love the Manix for its bilateral controls, but the compression lock just wasn't good enough. I was curious about the little plastic dot that you glue onto the compression lock. A lot of people like them, but it costs twenty-some bucks, and I'm a stubborn cheapskate. I carved one out of a chunk of micarta, glued it on, and now my compression lock knife is WAY better than before. I'll go as far to say that my right-handed compression lock with the modification is better than my left-handed compression lock. I like it so much that I went out and bought another compression lock knife.

That sounds amazing! Any chance of a photo of your mod? I've tried all of the lefty tricks that I can find on here and I just can't make the compression lock work for my left hand. I'd love to actually be able to use my Caribbean without feeling like I'm in danger of dropping it every time I close it.

Rusty good for you ! I gifted one to a good friend for a Kapara . Have to watch them , they tend to come off over time from his experience . I use a technique on my PM2 and others that works on some but not all righty Comp Locks . It depends on hand size and shape of handle . I will try to post tonight . Sorry planting now . MG2

Sure. I started a thread on it a while back. I'm glad you asked, because re-reading it reminded me of subtleties I had forgotten. I'll probably make another for my PM2 15V some day soon. The next one will likely be metal so it will match the hardware better. Aluminum is easy to work with, but stainless would be a better match.

Rusty Iron probably based his mod on this
Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):

-Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), and also Wayne Goddard PE (4V)

That was a concern, but hasn't been a problem thus far. I made mine as big as possible within the cutout on the scales, and left even more material on the inside to provide more surface area to be in contact with the lock.

I'd love to see and buy either an Enuff 2 or Subway Bowie in Magnacut. I'd likely buy both if Spyderco makes them.

My hope is for any or all of these: Stretch 2 XL Salt, K390 Stretch 2 XL, Manix 2 LW Salt. I expect to see the PM2 Salt and a Jumper of some sort in K390, which would be okay, just not as interesting to me personally.

Magnacut Caribbean XL filling up the extra space in the handle, serrated of course. I'm happy to rock a prototype of needed, wink wink.
