Slightly longer clip screws for Para 3

Does anybody have a source for slightly longer clip screws for the Para 3? I have some aftermarket scales that are just a smidge too thick. I hate to grind them down if I can just get a few screws. Thanks!

If you can't find screws, just take a drill bit and countersink the holes so the screws can reach.

Yup, countersinking is what I've done in that situation.

IIRC the factory screws are just under 3/16". I used these to mount an hourglass clip over some Aramis PM2 scales which are thicker than the factory scales.

It would be pretty hard to countersink holes in a Lynch clip.

If you end up at your local hardware store, the thread type is 2-56.

When you order a clip from Lynch directly, they usually include extra screws, including longer ones, as a courtesy. MXG also includes screws which may be longer.

Due to Lynch clips having quite a bit of tension, some folks will sometimes think that the screws are too short. If you install the clip starting with the clip rotated 180 degrees and only install the middle screw, then rotate it carefully, that may help. Here's a video which shows what I'm talking about:

I've tried the Lynch screws and they're just too short, I'll need longer ones. I've tried the rotation trick, no dice. I can get 2 screws to just thread, but the third pulls them loose no matter which order I try tightening.
