Did you try to get it fixed for free under Warranty? Or did you offer to pay all the applicable fees and charges just to have him fix it at all?RustyIron wrote: ↑Mon Apr 24, 2023 11:15 amirontriangle wrote: ↑Mon Apr 24, 2023 10:27 amYep. You did misinterpret all that exactly as you just explained. Good job for realizing it. Apology accepted!
When I bought my new McLaren 720S Spider (not Spyder), I didn't like the wheels. I bought some aftermarket wheels from Pep Boys, but the brake calipers interfered when I tried to install them. So I tried to remove the calipers, but had to take off the axles, too. When removing the axles, I broke the bolt that holds the transmission cover plate. I removed the transmission, but the YouTube video I was watching was for the 2022 model. I couldn't take the car apart any further, and I couldn't put it back together. So I loaded all the parts onto a flat bed truck and had it delivered to the dealer. But the customer service guy wouldn't fix my car for free under warranty, and he wouldn't even install the new wheels. He clearly doesn't care about me. He's mean. I'm crossing him off my Christmas Card list.

See the huge glaring difference?
Also comparing wheels on a several hundred thousand dollar McLaren to a couple of plastic knife scales on a $400 knife is like comparing a Nuke to a firecracker.
But thanks for your input.
