Need another Cru-wear knife
Need another Cru-wear knife
I decided I need another Cru-wear knife. I'm torn between the DLT Purple DLC version or the Stretch 2 XL. The truth is, I rarely ever carry a knife as large as the XL, but it is totally bad-***! Lol. Thoughts?

Nice choices , great price on the DLT exclusive. I have their Endela in pocket at the moment , I only have four models in Cru-wear all keepers . Dan

I really like my DLT PM2 in Cruwear. The purple is very muted in person. I can highly reccomend it. My example is perfect.
I do not have the Stretch in Cruwear, but it seems like it comes highly reccomended from most. I think the Stretch is nicer overall with the stainless backspacer.
I think if it were me I would get the Stretch if price was no obstacle. Seems like a great EDC knife. For a work knife, I would prefer the shorter stouter blade with the wider handle of the PM2.

Re: Need another Cru-wear knife
The idiot in me wants the XL, cuz it really is a nice knife and who knows how long it will be offered. The more grounded part of me realizes that the PM2 will actually get used. Plus, the PM2 is legal to carry where I live. I'd just hate to eventually be able to carry that XL and have missed out on it. Hmm. Sadly, this is not one of those occasions where I can just say, what the heck and buy both.JSumm wrote: ↑Fri Apr 14, 2023 12:54 pmI really like my DLT PM2 in Cruwear. DLT Cruwear Endela is very nice and hard to beat at $109.
Has a stronger tip than either the PM2 or the Stretch XL.
I own all three and the Endela has been in my pocket the most lately. Really hits a functional sweet spot given the price. So much in fact I bought two of them!

Accidentally ordered a second Endela the other day, forgot I'd previously ordered one. Otherwise I would have gotten the PM2 in addition to the XL. FWIW, a K390 Endela is my EDC. Just couldn't say no to the XL at that price!Cycletroll wrote: ↑Fri Apr 14, 2023 2:00 pmDLT Cruwear Endela is very nice and hard to beat at $109.

Too funny Dan!
I've heard of issues with the lanyard, hmm, what do we call it, tube? Have you experienced any?

Well for that price, I don't think you can say no to the Stretch XL. There will always be another PM2 exclusive.

I think KnifeCenter still has their smooth G10 Native as well, just throwing that out there if your thinking maybe not that big of a knife.

Believe me, I want that one too, lol. Just not enough funds! If I didn't have a satin blade version, I'd have jumped on it. But thanks!!

Re: Need another Cru-wear knife
I'm not the original poster, but I just ordered the DLT PM2 Cruwear exclusive! I've been wanting a PM2 for a long time now and this will be my first. I really went back and forth about whether I should get a cruwear knife or not for a good chunk of time. Long story long I live a little ways out from a saltwater beach, and it gets really humid here in the summer (not that I'll be taking the knife anywhere near a beach). From everything I heard its a surprisingly corrosion resistant knife for being non-stainless.
