Went fishing again.

Because desolate places allow us to breathe. And most people don't even know they're out of breath.

I'm feeling much better! As my concussion improved and I slowly increased my activity level I've also discovered that my hip and back got a real good beating as well, and my reflexive and probably quite explosive response to counteract the fall seem to have "paid off" with some degree of hernia. All of that is quite trivial compared to a head injury, so I feel lucky to walk a way from this with just fixable problems :)
On Saturday I'm going on my first backpacking trip after the fall. Feels so good to be back in the saddle and making plans again!
Good and glad to "hear" that you are better!

Hope you´ll bring one or two knife pics back home from your backpacking trip - in this case more in the "knife small, background huge" - style, cause I´d love to see more of your wild lands (I figure you still have to be on skies or snowshoes up there (in the north), right?)
In any case: Enjoy!!

Carried my Salt 2 on a nice run in the rain today.
Default choice for such shorter outdoor activities, where it's just about having a knife on me and won´t probably even have to use it (not meaning that the Salt would not be capable though!
As I´ve said before: For me probably the Spydie with the best "weight to capability-ratio"- but if I really plan on using my knife for more than just one or two cuts, I´d probably bring a larger one)
