Got my shipped notification at 1308 central. St. Nick's is in the neighboring state 400 some miles away. I should have mine in hand pretty quick.

And that's why Spyderco has become a sprint/exclusive focused company. Most of their customers (or at least enough of them) love it and it's a massive money maker.

Just got my shipping notification too. Is this a real notification or one of those "we scanned it into the system and made a label but it probably won't get in USPS/UPS's hands until Monday"?

Got mine as well. Assuming they're just creating all the labels in a big batch (the tracking info only said label created) then working on getting them out the door today. That's my guess anyway.

I tried to get one, but it didn't work out for me... I am happy for those who did get one (maybe not the flippers though, hahaha, if there were any?).
Even called them up and found out they couldn't/wouldn't do over the phone transactions. Que sera, sera :-) in the end, it is, just a(nother) knife after all (-:

What didn't work exactly!?

it just kept not taking my credit card info for at or over 15 minutes straight, which is what prompted the phone call to St. Nick's. Found out that wasn't an option, as mentioned. Went back to trying to get my CC info in and some time later while doing that, the screen went to "out of stock".

I will speculate that it was multiple folks ordering them that caused the "bottle neck", not allowing the site to let me put my credit card info in and complete my order.

Water under the bridge at this point :-)

I am genuinely happy / excited for those that got one, and hope it is all they hope for :-)

Lots of people aren't fans of saving their credit card info, but I swear I've scored so many sprints and exclusives just because I have mine stored in my Samsung Wallet and/or Gpay so it autofills that part of the transaction. I had my order in and completed in less than 1 minute. I was back on the forum posting about it at 1:01.

It wasn't accepting two different debit cards of mine on my PC. I had to switch to my phone and then it worked. Very weird.

yeah, I have checked back a few times over the hours in hopes there might be a few to pop up and I would be lucky enough to get one of them. No such luck.
Says "out of stock", and "UNAVAILABLE" each time. While hopeful, I'm also not sweating it either. Wouldn't have tried if I didn't want one, but it's all good either way (i.e. not getting one).
