Read trough the "stainless steel handled..." - thread (viewtopic.php?f=2&t=94099#p1686927) and so decided to carry my ss Endura today.
Whenever I do so, I realize again what an extremely nice carry it is, in more "civilian", heavier garment pants (which would be just jeans for me... ;) ) - so thin and slick that is is almost "not there" when one passes the hand by the knife in pocket.

/ Some history of my hometown Salzburg again:

In the background one can see a section of St. Sebastians Cemetery - it was built under the rule of Prince Archbishop Wolf Dietrich von Raitenau (the Archbishops of Salzburg were not only clerical, but mainly secular rulers of the archdiocese of Salzburg).

In former times the members of the most prominent Salzburg families were buried there (for example also Mozarts father and wife).

For more see here https://www.salzburg.info/en/sights/chu ... e-friedhof for example

It is a beautiful, quiet and peaceful place, I like the atmosphere there a lot.

15V Manix was along for the ride this afternoon. Turned out to be a wildlife viewing afternoon. Did get a walk of about 2 miles in but spent most of my time watching the migrating geese. Flocks of thousands of thousands show up in the Missouri River valley each spring.

Image

Didn't get much for good pictures of the geese, only had my phone unfortunately. Will go back within the next couple days with real equipment and get some better shots.

Awesome shot w/phone or not and great knife!…my father was from Altheimer,Arkansas(just outside Stuttgart) my uncle still has a farm there…we used to go out every year to shoot some mallards, teal, pintail etc but what he really wanted us to do was help eradicate the massive amounts of geese that he had…I remember him telling us they had so many that their droppings were changing the soil ph levels…sandhills were a bonus to see but we couldn’t shoot any…will never forget the sights and sounds…thanks for the memories…still have my shotgun😉🤣

Thanks and glad ypu found that interesting!

I am quite a bit into local history - it somehow gives my life another dimension to know what has happened in all the centuries before in the places that sourround me - and luckily Salzburg is really rich when it comes to ancient and /or historical sights and places.

Thx Salty! But i did not buy it if i’m honest. It was a present from the Spyderco meet.
Its does make me think maybe to buy a pm3 g10 in the future. Like the wide smaller blade more the that of the pm2. Just do not like this ones weight. But as an user/abuser for on my job its a great gift! :smlling-eyes
