Spyderco spotted in Ukraine, but which one?

That's a video making the rounds of two Ukrainian soldiers showing how their body armor stopped a shell. The second one sure looks like he's got a spyderco attached to the front of his chest, but I can't quite tell which one. Maybe a Military? (how appropriate!)

Anyway, nice to see them out in the field!

looks like an older Military with the smaller lanyard hole, T6 screws, and the pivot which screws in from one side only.

I wonder if there is a project where we can send Spydercos to Ukranian soldiers.

An inch to the left, and his Spyderco would have been ruined!

But I'm sure it would have been replaced under warranty.

Spyderco Military S30V by the looks of it.

I guess the rest of you missed it, here let me clear up the confusion.

The reason he is still alive is the round hit the Spyderco MIlitary first and the toughness of the full liner construction and G10 absorbed and deflected much of the kinetic force otherwise he would have been a goner!

Definitely a Military.
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

Cool! Nice to see it being used as designed- I’m sure it’ll serve that soldier well.

It's an older Military.

It may just be an effect of the poor image quality, but doesn't the blade spine almost look like it curves upward more than the Military's? Almost like the spine of a leaf-shaped blade?

I spotted that too! I thought that was really cool. I own a Spyderco Tenacious, and when I saw that, I was glad that I bought it. I wish I could buy the Para Military, I think that's the one that was in the video. I can't really afford to buy one, but if you send me one Spyderco, I'll make a really good YouTube promo/review video for you!

"30mm AP round that failed to penetrate Ukrainian body armor"
The level of stupidity of this statement is mind boggling.
Dude would have been lucky to be found in less that 30 pieces if hit by a 30.
