BIG Dy

At the moment the Spyder I carry most for EDC is the Big C-44P&S Dyad. It has been my constant companion for almost 4 straight months now.

Albeit when I have to go to Kommiefornia I carry a couple of shorter blades. I either carry my blue Yojimbo or my PE Lil Temperance. ;) :spyder:

Over the last month the most used edc has been...

The Renegade.

Followed closely by SS CE Police, BB CE Millie.

Others in the rotation include the Wegner, Gunting, ATR, and the Manix

Its always one of these Crickets. I usually have another with me. That might be a Salt 1 SE, Delica PE or maybe the Tim Zowada PE lately. The Crickets get used the most.

Military CE... 98% of the time.

After that, a Manix PE or a Little T leaf blade PE.

I always have my stainless pe Cricket as a money clip. I never use it to cut anymore though :( I always have my grey frn pe Caly jr. for edc cutting tasks since I got it. I always rotate an MBC knife in my rf pocket-Yojimbo, se Matriarch, se Civilian, pe Chinook. I carry another larger utlity knife rr pocket-like the pe Manix, Wegner ce, pe Rescue, or pe tp Lil Temp :D
Today it is the cricket lf, the Yojimbo rf, and the ce Wegner rr. Oh- I almost forgot the se ladybug on my keys :spyder: :)

The Grey Calypso Jr. get the most pocket time.

I always have a Jester on my keychain, but they get very light use.

I change them so no one feels left alone. it's summer here so carrying is limited to lightweight models at this moment. Walking around in sandals with a t-shirt and in loose beach shorts kind of narrows it down to a frn model.
In winter times going downtown i chance to different gear. ;)

A bit off-topic. I don't have any SS models and was wondering are the handles get cold in winter time??
I'm sure those handles are more slippery in gloves than FRN.

I love that knife man.

If you felt like posting a pic or two of it I'm sure most folks would enjoy. I sure would. :)

I'm with Deacon. A Jester is carried most, but used little. My SS Kiwi is carried and used at work. The Kiwi is still the best office-EDC, so there's nothing to rotate it with.

Depends where you carry them. if carried close to the body, there is no problem, but clipped somewhere where the knife does not benefit from your body heat could cause frostbite with a SS handle! I think the Manix is one of the best cold weather knives, big wide blade so less chance of breaking ( steel becomes more brittle when cold) a big handle for gloves hands and an easier lock to disengage then a liner lock. The G10 doesn't seem to freeze to your bare skin as SS would do.

just my 2 cents
