I always read the description of a Scottish Ale and think that sounds delicious, but I'm always left wanting something more hoppy.

Take-Out Dunkin Donuts Extra Large Coffee!!!
I probably have 4 or more of these a week. If I'm not doing a drive through to get one, I grind Dunkin beans and make one at home.

Some coffee my wife got me. The cayenne doesn't kick in until the end.

Man does not live by coffee alone....
I had 3 Goose Island Matilda beers. I felt a little something, but I drink so infrequently I think I'll be buying some spiced rum and drinking that from now on. I still weigh 200lbs and I want to get a solid buzz. I don't drink casually, I drink to get a solid buzz going, and it never really happened. Shifting to Malibu Rum, OJ, and Cranberry juice for a "tropical drink." Drink 3 of those and look out!

But for tonight

If you ever need a good campfire whiskey, this one has a good smoke flavor to it.

Re: What are ya drinkin????
Working my way through a bottle of Wild Turkey 101.
Once in a while, I want whiskey. Don't know why.
I don't like it. Doesn't matter if it is scotch or bourbon.
But when I have a bottle I can't leave it alone and I drink it.
Usually two drinks in the evening, two jiggers each.
My grandfather drank Wild Turkey every day.
My Dad rarely drank, but would have a Bushmill on occasion
preferred by a favorite author I can't recall.
So sometimes I drink those to honor their memory.
Neil Peart of Rush wrote Ghost Rider, Travels on the Healing Road,
and was an avid motorcyclist. He liked The Macallan.
So a bottle rode in my saddlebag on motorcycle tours.
It's a very smooth drink after a hard ride, but it's expensive.
But I don't like any of them
and can't understand why I would want to drink them.
When I do, I have to use a lot of ice and some water
or I can't drink them at all.
I must be missing the whiskey gene.
Cold beer is my beverage of choice.

Re: What are ya drinkin????
Wild Turkey is a mighty fine high rye bourbon, and goes underrated. Enjoy yours, even as a non-fan. Beer is mighty fine too.
Re: What are ya drinkin????
Wild Turkey is a fine whiskey. Their Longbranch is especially delicious.
