Thanks, Dan!
I'm grateful that Spyderco does these collaborations, as they allow us to sample the work of talented knife makers and designers.

Collaborations have been around for a long time but Spyderco took it to another level . I always appreciate their ability to filter through so many designs and find what works for them and the user . Dan

^ Yes, very true.
Re: Post your Spyderco collection in one picture!
Awesome collection, I love it!
I too am grateful that Spyderco collaborates with so many talented makers and designers. My favorite part is how selective they are about who they work with though. To me it makes the collaborations they actually end up doing feel more special.
Watching some SHOT show 2023 videos from other brands has been eye opening on that too. I’ve already seen a few brands that just name drop left and right as if that designers reputation is what they’re relying on to sell the knife. I’m glad to Spyderco's focus remains on high performance and not just on the clout from collaborating with big names.

Yeah, I something see Spyderco getting flak for being slow out the gate compared to other companies in churning out new designs and collaborations, but I too would rather go for quality and careful selection over sheer quantity of new releases.
As it is, just finding and acquiring past discontinued collabs would already mean more models than I could use on a regular basis.

Thanks! The pocket clip is the standard titanium clip from mxg. The scales are AWT anodized in sniper grey.Cycletroll wrote: ↑Sat Jan 21, 2023 2:37 pmNice collection!

After reducing my total collection by 20%, this is what's left of Spyderco (and one Byrd).
Found out I love small knives with wire clip best, so current EDC is Chap, as Dragonfly just cramps my hand too much.

Framelocks acquired to date.
Sadly, when I inquired about it, they said it was no longer available.
I was a bit disappointed, but it's okay. I can live without a Chubby
Side story: A local shop listed a NIB Burch Chubby for sale last week, so I thought I would be able to add another framelock to the collection.Sadly, when I inquired about it, they said it was no longer available.

Less than a hundred if we're just talking Spyderco. It's been a crazy 10-year hobby that turned into an addiction somewhere down the road.
I'm cutting down this year, promise.
