If I had another shot at a lil Nilakka I'd take it.

Absolutely, especially in different steels. I wonder how MagnaCut would behave with a true zero grind?

I would say Hundred Pacer. Seriously underestimated knife. Had a chance to play with it and I was impressed. I couldn't get one for reasons and I was secretly cheering for the lack of love for it, believing it will be in stock forever. Once I got back on my feet... Surprise! Out of stock literally everywhere and on top of that discontinued.

Sage 2! I've tried the Sage 1 and kind of hate the texture of that carbon fiber peel ply, while I love frame locks. Never got one because it was discontinued before I started getting into knives 😥

I've certainly answered already, but a Goddard FRN in K390 would be excellent ! I know FRN tooling wouldn't be worth it for just a sprint, so... let's bring it back all together ? :')
:respect In the collection :respect : Lots of different steels, in lots of different (and same) Spydercos.

Is that a Spyderco, or something Bob Lum made with Sal’s permission? I have several Bob Lum folders, but they are rather different.

It’s an original Bob Lum custom Tanto.

Thanks, Nick. I was hoping for the latter possibility. I’d hate to think it was inauthentic, especially as it suits my eye.

My reference to Sal’s permission arose from thinking Spyderco would not have actually collaborated with Bob Lum had he used the Spyderhole before having some agreement to do so.

I've been thinking lately that I'd like a back lock manix. The manix is probably my favorite large folding knife but I'd prefer it if I could carry it tip down.

I may be getting confused. I just remember a Tanto Spyderco made with jade handles that so thought was a collaboration between Spyderco and Bob Lum. I been wanting one of those a few years now.

I would like to see some of the first generation comp lock knives make a comeback. The Vesuvius, integral Salsa, and proto Ocelot all deserve an update.

Perhaps when moki is back manufacturing at full capacity, i’d really love to see them bring back the calypso jr. in the al mar style polished black linen micarta with the flush steel pivot and pins. Come on, it’s just too beautiful. It’d also be nice if the blade was upgraded to a bit of a tougher steel, but I’m fine with aus-8, especially as a means of keeping costs down, the design and moki’s factory work is just worth it.

Gayle Bradley 1. Now that was a solid, stiff knife.

Blade steel could be changed for something with more edge stability, or remain M4. Either would be fine by me.
