Not sure what I would pick but G-10 Handle, Min .125 Thick Blade, Min 3.25 long Blade.

Manix is on short list but none in stock Black G-10, 🫠

My heart says Chaparral, but my brain knows that a non-LW Manix 2 would be more versatile.

Of the currently available steels, I'd probably choose XHP due to its' balance of toughness, edge retention and corrosion resistance; Magnacut is another option, but the LW variant isn't my first choice and I'm not sure if blade swaps are allowed (since it would require a "donor" knife).
Current Collection
Chaparral (All Variants), Dragonfly 2 (VG-10), McBee, Sage 5 LW, Slysz Bowie, Stretch 2 (K390), UKPK Salt (LC200N)

A pm2 in either CruWear or S35vn. Given how hard the s35 versions are to track down these days, it would probably have to be a Crucarta pm2 or the DLT exclusive.

Well, if he meant what would be the last Spyderco I would want to loose and the one I would choose if I had to go and could only take one . . . my Military in CTS-XHP.

Much as I love the Native 5 in all its flavors, the 20CV Endela from DLT would my choice for last knife because of its slightly longer blade.

Ahh what a tortuous question! If I could truly only have one cutting tool for the rest of my life it would be an H1 Pac Salt with serrated edge. Ounce-for-ounce it’s the lightest, toughest, most ferocious cutting tool I own.

Depending on the day, my answer would be PM2 or Stretch 2. Probably PM2, I'd want stainless (or at least CruWear), and would prefer something other than VG-10 for a "one knife for life."

I would have to choose the Kapara. It’s everything I need in a pocket knife.

A c54 calypso. I regularly carry and use a 3” blade the most, as it’s versatile for handling smaller and some larger cutting jobs. But if I’m stuck with one knife I’d rather have a larger bladed pocket knife, the calypso is perfection in that size category for me.

You sold me on the C54, I want need one. Now I just need to find a time capsule and go back to when the C54GBN sprint was available.

Think the Native is cool knife but needs more length. Native on steroids would be cool.

I think Spyderco has some M390 Native Chiefs still in stock. I have 3 of them. Need one more!!!

Tell me when you find one! so I can borrow it and go back to get a couple more for myself :) I do wish the sprint did come with that black+gold Spydie logo on the clip, that’d just be the cherry on top for me in terms of the aesthetics. But seriously, the calypso’s design is purely exceptional! I hope you track one down at a good price

The Native Chief is too big for my daily needs, and as such doesn't get carried often. The Endela is more my Goldilocks size, but in reality, majority of my pocket knife chores can be handled by a Native 5 or Delica-sized blade.

I’d have to opt for my PM2 tanto in S30V - it’s big enough to get any job done, strong enough not to be overly concerned about snapping the tip off, stainless enough to survive almost daily use in the tropics, and the blade shape is incredibly versatile once you get used to it. Admittedly this may well change when my Military 2 arrives, and even more so if they do a tanto blade salt version (a guy can dream right?!).

The Manix XL is another do it all work knife I love, but it doesn’t quite have the fun factor of a tanto bladed PM2.
