Would say the swap page, but that's about as much of a joke as keeping an alert thread...an alert thread.
Is this page known to be unreliable or questionable for sellers and buyers?
No, tkospy just has his panties in a bunch about an unrelated topic.

There's never been a case of someone getting ripped off there. Not one.

The only people allowed to post there are established members here. If someone asks to join and I see they signed up to this forum five weeks ago and have three posts, I don't add them. It isn't open to anyone I don't manually approve - you can't even view it.

It's low traffic, but high trust. I bought my current favorite EDC there (C95 Manix), my daughters last knife, sold a Native Chief and Waterway, etc. Prices tend to be lower than other outlets because it's enthusiasts swapping their favorite brand rather than trying to maximize profit.

It's one more tool in the secondary market toolbox and fills a niche, just like ebay also has its place. I would never suggest someone rely only on the swap, but it's worth keeping eyes on.

I see a number of things on the swap. Being in Europe I'm mainly focused on other europeans publications but I've found a Mule there !
It can always be useful and as vivi said, only known forum members there.
:respect In the collection :respect : Lots of different steels, in lots of different (and same) Spydercos.

I can’t seem to get access to the spydie swap Reddit group anyway. Knife swap is a pain in the *** with their rules. Guess I’m gonna have to go back to eBay. Ugh.

It's just me, but AZCK is the best for me.

They get your knife, make a web page for it, have an interface for you to raise or lower the price, draw traffic, handle the payment and shipping, are 100% responsible for everything, then send you a check on the 2nd Tuesday after the sale.

There must be a decent sized fee for all of that though.

Knafsale is good so far. They only take 10% compared to the 25% of azck.

The site itself is kinda lacking, but as a service it's been great.

10% sounds reasonable. There is always Bladeforums, but you have to have a paid membership. I definitely don't sell enough knives for that.

There is. It is 20% I think.

But if you have safe queens, sprint runs, or rare knives you may mark them up 20% or more because of their rarity and you get back what you put into the knives. That is what I did. Now, not all of them sold for 20% plus, but overall I broke even for the lot of them.

It sounds fair if you have some expensive knives, or a lot of them.
