Wow, after watching Eric’s interview and seeing the K390 Enuff 2 in hand, I’m getting really pumped for this release! Even though I just got a Waterway, another slim little fixed blade will be making its way into my stable ASAP. I’ve tried the handle on an original Enuff in my local store and it fits my hand perfectly. Check out the interview here:

I’m here for the folders.

Or so I keep saying, probably to convince myself to save money by laying off the fixies. Still, I do have the Enuff Salt and the Waterway.

I just don’t think I can resist the K390 Enuff2, which should be, as JRinFL has suggested, More Than Enuff.

I want to be excited about the Enuff 2 in K390, but, they have yet to get the first Enuff 2 in VG10 to market. I love the releases and I know they try to get the knives out in 3-4 months after a release, but . . . .

Honestly both of the K390 releases, Enuff 2 and Lil' Temperance, are soooooooo tempting and I can easily see myself buying them as soon as they are available, but, as the Lil'Temperance wasn't even a prototype of the K390 version, I am not getting my hopes up of seeing either for a long time.

This post makes me sad.

I'm (perhaps unrealistically) hopeful that the K390 versions drops first. Spyderco does like to listen to us and they do like to spring surprises on us as well.

I was pretty stoked to hear Eric talking about Sal hand-carving the FRN molds for this knife. Also really stoked to see the K390 come along so quickly. I'm sure this will be a great knife.
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

I think Sal's Talking Story of carving that handle is saved in that Talking Story Thread.

Very much interested in a fixed blade in K390, so this has my attention.
I've never been lost. A bit confused for a month or three maybe, but never lost.

The Enuff handle is amazing indeed.

I had the clip point version, came to realize that the cutting edge was just too short for what I carry a fixed blade for (and I don't carry one often anyway), but still almost kept the Enuff just cause I loved that feel of the handle in hand so much.

Now I think that the scales on the Enuff 2 are exactly the same (?), BUT:

- I figure the handle will be a bit thinner than on the "1", due to the thinner blade stock? Just 0.7 mm though, wonder if this will be actually noticeable (in direct comparisin it probably would, otherwise I don't know).
Top three going by pocket-time (update August 22):
- EDC: Stretch 2 XL SE (VG10), Manix 2 LW PE (REX 45) , Endela SE (VG10)
-Mountains/outdoors: Also Stretch 2 XL SE (VG10); Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N)

i think it'll be noticeable. the micarta scales on my manix feel a little thinner because of the texturing and it's very noticeable. i still like it though. if you liked it before, my guess is you still will, but you may feel a difference.

Just for clarity, Sal did not hand-carve FRN molds, he hand-carved the prototype handle scales that were then copied for the molds, something he has done many times over the years.

Yeah, that serrated one looks really good to me.
Full flat serrated VG10 is a winning formula in lots of my uses, so I’m glad there’s a thin fixed blade in the line up with that. This knife is a really sweet size.
I actually like the extra strap on the sheath too.

K390 on a fixed blade will be fun to try and I’m wondering if we will indeed see serrated k390 on this model. I think so, but since it hasn’t been announced yet, I’m not sure.

The novelty of a serrated k390 fixed blade is very alluring to me, and I want to support the idea in hopes we see more if it, but I’m not sure the Enuff 2 is the right model for me to test that out.

A comparison of this model with the Aqua Salt would be useful to me.
