Love to see that beauty getting used!
For sure! S90V is too good to sit around and be pretty.

I too think Spydies look so much better with clear signs of use, be it gunk or other stuff on the blades, scratches, worn-in Micarta scales, visibly often times sharpened edges or whatever.

And your pics pretty much always deliver in that regard, Rick!

That the Natives for me are the coolest looking Spydies anyway does not hurt the pic either :cheap-sunglasses

Well, the Salt 2 was in my pocket (rather waistband) indeed during a quick trailrun today - but the pic is about a month old.

I think it is the one and only knife pic I took while being away from this forum for about five month:

Salt 2 in front of a canyon, that ends on the shore of the Atlantic ocean- Isle of La Palma (one of the Canary Islands, about 100 / 60 miles west of Morocco, Norther Africa).
Great place to be - not much tourism yet, and amazing volcanoes one can hike and climb up to almost 2500 meters / 8000 feet.

It might not look as good since it's missing the carbon fiber scales but the S90V still puts in work.

What's the verdict? Assuming you like it, which of your other favorites would this be a good replacement for?

I am pretty sure I will have the CF version at some point.

Hey Peter, I was very excited for that Black Friday opportunity and this knife has not disappointed. After getting that KW exclusive Military in S90V, I knew I wanted a smaller knife in S90V as well.

In my collection, for Spyderco's this is in its own class. Most of my mine are a bit larger. Like yourself, I'm extremely fond of the Golden models so the Manix, Shaman and Native Chiefs rule my collection with multiples of those. Similar size to my UKPK and Para 3, but all are 3 so different.
