Dating very early Spyderco folder

Over the weekend -was cleaning up my attic. found junk box with my old folder. must be 20-30 years old. Would like to try and date thid knife..Only marking is a line ---left side "spyderco" right side "seki japan" Knife it self is all metal with a short semicurve serrated blade. Any and all informationis appreciated.

Yeah that's exactly what I was thinking too. Because he's obviously referring to a "stainless handle" in his description. And the Harpy is a really old model>> maybe one of the very oldest in the line up.

And I read this thread title at least a few times imagining you literally taking a knife out on a date. The coffee is coming on kinda slow this morning.

I don't usually date my knives, but have to admit vintage Spydercos look very sexy :D

When you say “semicurve”, do you mean in side view like a hook, or a hawk’s bill, or a cat’s claw? If so, I’d agree with others who think you have a Harpy. I date mine to 1988.
