Stretch 2 XL in grey G10 and CruWear steel!

I am waiting with CC ready Spyderco. You have dangled this one out in front of me enough to want me to spend the money now release it please.

If it were a normal sized Stretch I would be in the “must buy” group. However, at the price they are charging, I would expect perfect fit and finish, and very few of my Seki models display this. I just don’t understand how G10 from Japan is so much more expensive.


It’s a great looking knife, but just too big for me, and the retail price is… exorbitant. To all who acquire one, enjoy!!

I wouldn't be surprised if the price hiking was more in line with Japan having to import the raw G10 material, versus it being made there, as the biggest price discrepancy (importation with the yen being of lesser currency value). As is, they already have to import the steel.

I agree however, too rich for my pocket book to account for and these days I'm preferring a stainless steel in my pocket. I'll await the SPY27 sprint and see if that will be an easier pill to swallow.

It was there long enough for me to decide to spend the money and try it so we will see. Native Chief is my go to carry everyday so if this is quality it should fit in nicely. That said it looks as if there is only one left in stock on the home page.

Beau, thanks for the heads up, been on the hunt for this since I viewed all the great photos everyone has shared here. And I always enjoy giving KW business. Order confirmed on this XL Stretch. Guess I won't be getting the Lil Native from knife joker tmr, I'm happier with this bigger model.

On the one hand it's a bummer how many good knives I've had to pass on because of all the great knives that have dropped this year, on the other hand it's a good problem to have.
