The rare Mariner Salt in both the SE (C120S) and Japan-only market (C120P) versions

The C24 BlackHawk, little brother of the C23 Renegade, grandfather of the C41 Native.
Re: Obscure But Yet Extremely Cool Past Models
I posted it to one of these threads before, but the original Yojimbo is such an odd looking but highly functional knife.
Re: Obscure But Yet Extremely Cool Past Models
Thanks Vivi: I've always liked the original 2004 era Yojimbo and the original VG-10 RONIN better than any of the more recent renditions of these classics. There are just so many of the GOLDEN ERA Spyders ( 1998-2004) that truly got it right from the "Get-Go" and the original Yojimbo and Ronin models are prime examples of what I'm saying.
And for the Brother who put up the BLACKHAWK model I truly thank you. I actually EDCed an original RENEGADE model for a little over a year. If they ever do a RENEGADE with one of the newer/better Supersteel blades I'll probably try to EDC one again. In most cases the original models only need newer/better blade steels to inch them toward perfection IMO.

That's a remarkably comprehensive photo-list, Accutron! Thanks for the tour around memory lane... I regret not getting the Goddard back when it was easy to find. I just hadn't converted to lightweight knives a decade ago, I was still into liners and metal bolsters. Ah the follies of youth.

Dude you know I'm a superfan of the C-44 Dyad model. I still take mine with me every time I hike in the woods or go fishing.
I truly wish Spyderco would come out with another double bladed model. The concept of the double-bladed model just makes so much sense IMO.

I agree Joe . It is one of the most versatile knives ever made by Spyderco .it would not matter to me if the Dyad was revised or a retro I would have one . MG2

And don't forget that one Dyad Jr which had a Micarta handle. I've tried to close to 5 years now to find a replacement for the one I had to sell when I was in a pinch. Finding honest politicians I think would be easier than finding that Micarta Dyad Jr.Manixguy@1994 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 28, 2022 7:44 amI agree Joe . I just hope at some point Spyderco will seriously look into an R & D project of creating another double bladed model at some point.
