I’ve wanted a blade in a tough steel to swap into a ti Millie since forever.

Still off topic - has anyone successfully done this swap? I tried it with both Rex45 and S110V blades into a CQI Fluted TI handle. neither of them felt right. The detent was mushy and sticky in both cases. Like the detent hole in the blade was a slightly different size. The fluted TI would look amazing with a DLC blade though; good luck :)

This is likely due to uneven levels of wear in the blade and detent ball.

My Fluted Ti Millie currently has a s110v blade in it and it works just fine. I want to change to 4V, as the tough steel would be a good complement to the full-Ti handles. Never know if it will work til you try it, though.

That’s good. I’ve experienced this before and it has shown up, generally with no warning and later than normal. It’s always a knife, too. Ha. Looking at all my Spydercos, its not surprising.

Action is pure butter, no blade play out of box, centered in handle. And the black liners look great! My first manix xl and I love it! Thanks spyderco and st nicks
