If we can pretend that the SFO has every knife Spyderco has ever made in stock....

I'd probably go with a Hossom Forester. It seems like the most beefy fixed blade Spyderco has made that I recall, looks like it would be really good for chopping.

A Warrior wouldn't be a terrible idea but it's a bit small for chopping/swinging attacks. Maybe we need a Warrior XL Zombie Fighter.

Esee Junglas and a 6p. I wouldn’t really want a folder for zombie combat.

I don't think of a knife very practical for zombie defense.
But I'de go with Tuff and Millie or Endura.
I don't carry a fixed so ....

I'll bite... :winking-tongue

Of the knives I own, I'm taking the BRK Golok II & GB1 in pocket...

A Genesis Arms Gen-12 would be ideal...

Edit: I either skipped over the parameters entirely or they changed at some point...LOL!

Spyderco is not my first choice for battling Zombies...
So it goes.

Naaah. Something like one of those long handled tree-loppers and a Gauntlet to keep it sharp.

I guess it would be a good opportunity to get the Respect that I've been wanting to add to my humble collection LOL. What is the biggest fixed blade Spyderco makes? I have the Darn Dao, which is the biggest one I can think of.

Respect bowie to give a big long blade for working and zombie defending. Folder will be a spydiechef for small tasks and breaking down proteins and food prep, because the zombie knife is not touching my food.

I would hang around the crates full of large Spyder Throwers, until they run out. Then, Darn Dao.

No machete? Well, it was nice knowing ya.

I’ll take an Ontario machete and a Spyderco Military.
Right!

I’ve got a WW2 Springfield bayonet the long one… the blade is around 20 inches; this would be my go to but it would definitely need a bit of sharpening.

I’ll play along though
If you’re talking current production knives…

Fixed blade:
Perrin Street Bowie I think that’s the longest thing they make right now. However I own a Sustain and I think that might actually work well for scull penetration in the zombie apocalypse.

Folder: Manix 2 XL hands down. I have the regular and the DLC version.
Though the blade might be a touch too thin for this kind of adventure, of all the folding knives I’ve owned and handled the XL has the most confidence inspiring lockup I’ve ever experienced. If I’m ever forced to use a folding knife in a fight I really hope I have one of (or both lol) my Manix XLs on me.

The main thing you have to remember is… with zombies slashing and cutting will do virtually nothing other than potentially incapacitate an appendage. You need to decapitate them or penetrate the scull to kill them. You would want a long blade or something very thick yet stabby. Hawk bill, s shape and thin slicey blades would not deal well with impacting bone.
