I just noticed something, we haven't seen Wartstein around in a while. He hasn't signed on in 2 weeks now, that's very strange for him. Has anybody heard from him?
No ! I have also noticed Gernot has not posted too . I almost sent a PM to check on him but thought I should give him some time . Miss him ! Dan

May your feet be warm and dry and your throat warm with whiskey. A knife in hand or in the sock band.

Couldn't agree more! They're really nice in hand, too. Of course, any Manix is nice in hand.

Nice picture, I've been kind of tempted by the McBee lately, it looks really interesting and I really like XHP steel. I believe CTS-XHP is my favorite all around balanced steel out of what I've tried so far and I wish it wasn't so uncommon.
It's a cool "micro knife" I guess you could say. Taller than the ladybug and manbug I believe but comparable in length. But you can tell it's amazing build quality. Everything is stone washed. And it's on bronze washers. It has a tiny lanyard tube you could probably put it on a key ring lol. It's my first knife in XHP.

If we spent as much time trying as we do doubting, we might have already accomplished it.

I actually just logged in to post something similar. Strange that he hasn’t been around at all. I sent him an email some time ago as well and no response.

I haven't been on the forum for very long, but Wartstein quickly became one of my favorite forumites. I really appreciate his jovial tenacity. Hope he's just off having fun somewhere.

I just got this one and can't believe how well it cuts. The may be the best cutter I have in my embarrassingly large spyderco collection, even inches out my serrated police 4.
