Not my fave but... It was ~20 bucks, so it is my go-to for practicing sharpening and taking places I don't want to swallow a spydie being taken due to forgetting it is in my pocket.

Almost bought one on sale
Then I came to my senses and was able to resist
But then it kept showing up in your posts
Lost my senses
Just ordered one

I wish they would do this one and a few others in titanium and upgraded steel, like they did with the penguin. Unbelievable value

I hadn’t seen this version of the penguin before. Is this an exclusive? How is the quality of the carbon fiber?

Yes: https://www.kaviso.com/products/kaviso- ... with-s35vn

Every thing about my sample is great! I had the denim micarta version and this definitely takes it to the next level.

Folks in Maniago have been turning out some fun toys recently. Don’t see a lot of Dark Matter carbon fiber in production knives. Viper Turn Essential FCY (yellow carbon fiber, w/copper foil in the CF shred mix).
I find this knife quite intriguing. The edge comes impressively close to the handle, and that's without having much of a pronounced handle forward handle.

The overall design doesn't quite to me and my use, but it sure is cool to see innovation still appear to be happening in the backlock domain.

That one looks really good. I have two of the standard titanium framelock versions but had never seen these versions before. Might have to pick one up! Thanks for the link.

Only been carrying this all week. All my other knives and valuables are in the in laws safe, and truck and trailer in case we have to evacuate. There’s a bad fire a couple miles away.

Nice pickups, I just acquired a Washburn with EMGs. If I were to guess, I think your guitar is a Schecter. Second guess is LTD/ESP.
