The Last Gun You Bought
Re: The Last Gun You Bought
Recently ordered a new CZ 527, mostly for hogs and predators(this summer there were soooo many hogs around). Probably going to pick up a Silencerco for it and something like Vortex or Leupold scope, not really sure yet which one to get. Might just dismount one from my old .308, since I haven't been using it for a while

That's a beautiful Smith! Congrats on a nice find.

I love CZ. I have 2 of their shotguns. The 12 guage coach for me and a 28 guage pump for wife.Brookso wrote: ↑Tue Sep 06, 2022 7:27 amRecently ordered a new CZ 527, mostly for hogs and predators(this summer there were soooo many hogs around). If we spent as much time trying as we do doubting, we might have already accomplished it.

Re: The Last Gun You Bought
Yeah, I have CZ 12ga too, top notch quality. In general CZ definitely one of the better bang for the buck, Remington is pretty hard to beat tho in that regard :DJurmuscle wrote: ↑Tue Sep 06, 2022 10:10 amI love CZ. I have 2 of their shotguns. They really take ya back in time too, very nostalgic.

It's only 200?! Ye that's gonna be tough to beat. Did you get it on sale? Most stores I'm searching have it at around 280SpyderGrill wrote: ↑Wed Sep 07, 2022 9:22 pm

On the side note, what holster can you guys recommend for Glock43x? I've been reading a bit more( stuff like https://gritrsports.com/guides-tutorials/ and such) since I've decided to switch from kydex to leather.

Re: The Last Gun You Bought
Our Rural King had G2Cs for $179. I've shot them and the G3C and they make great farm guns too keep in the SXS. My buddy keeps his in a tool box and it's beat to heck but hasn't had a failure in over 2k rounds. Nice flat carry piece too. Hard to beat the value.
Oh and very nice S&Ws MacLaren, that bluing does look fantastic. My only other revolver right now is a Super Redhawk... I guess I'm just stuck on semi autos, but those are some fine examples you have there.

Re: The Last Gun You Bought
Yes on sale at $199.99 with a $25 mail in rebate at Rural King. Rural King had the rebate on a few Taurus guns a couple months ago. I bought it online thinking I was buying from my local store. Turned out they shipped the gun to my store and charged me $12.99 for shipping or I could have got it for $188.83 if it was an in store purchase after rebate.Brookso wrote: ↑Fri Sep 09, 2022 1:11 amIt's only 200?! Re: The Last Gun You Bought
Forgot to add in my last post. If you want to see a gun in action or hear his opinion on a select gun, youtube hickok45. Search the gun your looking at.
Hes pretty good in my opinion.
If I remember right, his EDC knife is or was a Spyderco Delica
