Call me crazy, I prefer the blue.

The S90V vs S110V makes it even harder. I have seen the stock photos of the blue and it looks a bit purple and only okay. But I have also seen some personal pictures and it looks more like a medium denim blue and looks really good.

I find a lot about S110V being prone to chips even with normal use. The S90V is a little tougher which might make a difference.

I prefer s90v because of the additional toughness. In theory, it holds an edge longer but that hasn't been my experience. The toughness has mattered, though. I also find that my s90v Spyderco's will pick up rust more easily than s110v (which I have never been able to get any rust on at all), but are still plenty stainless enough (like s30v, where s110v is substantially more stain resistant).

Good to hear, I have a 8 year old Manix in S30V and never had any rust issues. I think in stainless, S90V is one of, if not the best steel for a EDC folder. As long as it’s not abused I am hoping S90V won’t chip.

Great to hear. It might not be as collectible as some of the other releases but it’s got a great color and should be a very good work horse. Honestly I was on the fence between this and the PM2 Cruwear micarta PM2. Both good looking knives but S90V is probably the better steel for a EDC folding knife.

It really is. My first ever PM2 was this, but with S30V. I miss having a G10 knife with this color combo. S90V for that price makes it even sweeter. I miss that PM2

I thought I would just point out DLTs other pm2 exclusives say they are in stock. Tan 20cv dlc and purple cruwear dlc.

Are DLTs knives not as neat/cool as RECs? The green and black PM2 seems pretty cool but the REC stuff sells out in minutes.

This I wonder about as well. My knives got stolen a year ago, all of the. As pm2s go, red m390 dlt excl, para 3 lw m390, rex 45 sprint, and my most loved one the grey cruwear sprint, as well as the KC cruwear sprint, the dlt 20cv coated pm2, I'm Def forgetting some.

So unless I can get a satin cruwear sprint with g10 and full liners I have no interest in these because to me they just aren't the same as the grey cruwear one in emotional value.

I'm happy I at least got the dlc 20cv one back now.
I might get the s90v though.

So it sounds like you were a big fan of the Cruwear PM2. I am looking to get my first PM2 and not sure between this one and the micarta standard version, Spyderco just has not had it in stock in forever.

What are your thoughts on micarta on a PM2 or are you just a G-10 fan?

Your probably right. I am on the fence on this one but with on one else excited, it makes me think I am missing something. It also does not look like there are any other Manix, Shaman or PM2s on the horizon this year as so many were released already.

I have never tried a PM2 and was looking to replace my Manix 2 that I have really liked. I am also pretty interested in the Shaman but the good looking BladeHQ M4 Micarta one is $275 shipped for me. A bit crazy for a EDC, especially when most Manix and PM2 are well under $200.
