An all black s45vn pm2 would be my choice if I were to get one… oh wait… I did!

If not a pm2 then I’d go with either an endura or a pac salt 2!

Another vote for either S30V or S45VN for an all around stainless and Cruwear for a tougher knife. I actually prefer S30V, but in practice it's super hard to tell the difference.

Also (unsolicited opinion warning), I find the Para 3 to be a better "pocket knife" as it fits better in most pockets and I find the ergonomics slightly better.

If you want to get crazy, DLT is selling a PM2 (green / black) in S90V in about 10 days. No idea how fast it will sell but its a good looking knife and a great steel.
Endura AUS-8, Manix 2 S30V, Alcyone BD1N, PM2 Micarta Cruwear, Native 5 Maxamet (2nd), Para 3 Maxamet (2nd), Magnacut Mule, Z-Wear Mule, BBB 15V Manix 2, REC PM3 10V Satin, Dragonfly Salt 2, GB2 M4.

Wish they'd do that in a Manix 2...

Just PM2? Either one of the Cutlery Shoppe wharncliffe exclusives, or the teal/DLC S90V one if that's still available. Crucarta for regular production.

Tried to send you a PM, but looks like it isn't going through? There's a post on Bladeforums that would interest you!

I am a huge fan of the Manix but I want to try the PM2 and will probably get the green S90V version hope I am not disappointed as alot of people say they just don’t like the PM2. On a side not REC said they were making the Manix in tan g-10 with a black DLC 10V blade. No timeline but it’s coming.

Thank you everyone for all of the responses and sorry for the late reply. Things got hectic here. I live in New England (limit for 4” & under blades) and do sharpen my own knives with a wicked edge or a diamond stone. My one and only folding knife for the last couple of years was a Civivi Praxis that I got as a gift. I had a large collection but sold them all off in favor of a life change and minimalism. Just before I posted here, I tried an Endura K390 and returned it due to lock rock. I ended up jut receiving the PM2 with S45VN and I am very happy with it. I have always been a fan of Spyderco. Now I want a Shaman and Manix 2.😉. Have to wait though. Prices have gone up considerably over the last few years.
